TV Series
Steve Thomas is frustrated with his life. Between an unrewarding job teaching music at a city college during the day and gigging in dives at night for a covers band he has lost his joy and his muse.

After another frustrating day Steve quits his job, leaves his band and threatens to never play again unless it is his own material.

To add further complications to his life and disruption to his bachelor lifestyle his daughter, Kiera, arrives at his home after a fight with her mother.

Unemployed and struggling as a single father, Steve meets Nigel, an enigmatic and possibly quite dodgy entrepreneur, who offers Steve a job managing his new venue, The Phoenix Bar.

Accepting the role Steve has new challenges to meet. He wants a venue that respects musicians and he wants a band and he wants to be a good Dad.
But when Sophie, a blues singer with a beautiful voice arrives back in town Steve's world is turned upside down again.
