The Team
The People at Wild Fruit
John is a producer, writer and director. He enjoys collaborating with other creatives. He produced the feature film, The Competition, which enjoyed a theatrical release in Australia in 2015.
He has written, directed and produced a number of award winning short films including; Always the Son which was Runner Up at Tropfest 2010 and went on to win several international awards. Other award wining Shorts he has made include; Carpark, which won Best Screenplay at the Ouchy awards in Lasaunne, Switzerland. Carpark also won an Award for Excellence at the Canada Short Film Festival.
John has written several feature scripts which are in script development stage and is currently currently developing both a TV series and a web series.
John has also recently joined some exciting projects written by other people as a creative producer, these are now in advanced stages of development.

John Frohlich
Christian Doran is a writer, producer, director. He directed his first feature film at the age of 21, picking up award nominations in America and Australia.
Since then he has produced Me and My Mates vs the Zombie Apocalypse (2015) starring Jim Jefferies, Greg Fleet and Alex Williamson and co-produced Locks of Love (2014) starring Loraine Bailey, Aaron Jeffery and Les Hill with ScreenACT.
He has also directed many award winning short films that have found success overseas.
Recently he has been named as ‘One to Watch’ by the Screen Producers Association in 2015 and nominated for an ACT Export Award for the Crick Films export strategy over the next 3 years.
He is currently working on the feature film Reversal and the multi-platform project The Last Time Traveller.

Moya O'Shea
Janine Kaiser , was born in Germany as it underwent reunification. She found her passion for visual storytelling while growing up in East Berlin. At 19 years of age Janine immigrated to Australia and now holds dual citizenship.
As the founder of Kaiserin Films, Janine has transformed her passion into a profession over the past 8 years. She received an Advanced Diploma in Screen and Media in 2013 and worked as the Business and Communications Coordinator at Screen Canberra for three years.
Janine continued her training while working on a number of film projects. She then graduated with a Bachelor in Film and Television from Swinburne University in 2017.
She was awarded the Film Victoria Best Producer Award in 2018.
Across her career Janine has worked for a number of Australian production houses including; Wildbear Entertainment, CAAMA, The Directors Group, Madman Entertainment and Genepool Productions. Working as a producer on TVCs, Online Content, TV Series and Feature Documentaries. Currently, Janine is employed as aTV Producer at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne in the fast paced advertising industry.
Janine, has produced several of her own creative projects including award winning short films which have screened at the Sydney Film Festival, St Kilda Film Festival as well as Montreal World Film Festival. Her latest film St Bernie won Best Film at Canberra Short Film Festival.

Janine Kaiser
Neil Smail is a Canberra-based writer whose fiction, poetry and journalism have been published in Australia and internationally. He has a worked as a newspaper journalist, TV news editor – where he learnt news cameraman and editing skills - documentary film maker, publicist, Australian diplomat and senior government executive in marketing and public communications. He was a judge for the 2018 Canberra Short Film Festival. As a diplomat he served in Indonesia, the Philippines and Germany. He is a Fellow of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
